Christine Stankowski
Christine Stankowski has been leading and managing volunteer programs in the not-for-profit and local government sectors in Australia since 2006. In 2016, Christine launched Flutterbye, a volunteer management consultancy designed to support those who work with volunteers which has since grown to be Australia’s leading volunteer focused provider.
Through Flutterbye, Christine’s client base covers State and local government bodies, as well as a range of private not-for-profit organisations; all of whom aspire to leverage effective volunteering to achieve their organisational goals. In supporting her client base, Christine has developed volunteer engagement strategies, implemented Volunteer Impact improvements, reviewed, and baselined volunteer programs against leading practise and regulatory requirements, and delivered strategic projects for the broader volunteering sector.Christine has been a user of Volunteer Impact since 2010 and to this date, works as a Volunteer Engagement Manager for a large not-for-profit and utilises Volunteer Impact daily. In addition, Christine brings a unique blend of skills to her clients, with qualifications in Volunteer Administration (CVA), Community & Stakeholder Engagement (IAP2), Lean Six Sigma, change management, Training and Assessment and communications.
Christine’s client engagements are hallmarked by her ability to understand client need and to bring practical and pragmatic solutions that are clean and simple. The methodology she applies includes a focus on project management, authentic stakeholder engagement, alignment to standards and delivering with intent and clarity.
